About Aleksandr

Hi, I'm Aleksandr — an electronics engineer with 6+ years in hardware development and 10+ years of hands-on electronics repair.
Today I can take a hardware product from concept to working prototype: schematic design and PCB layout in Altium Designer (up to 4-layer boards), firmware in C/C++ (AVR and STM32), and enclosure design in SolidWorks. I also handle SMT prototype assembly in-house (stencil, reflow) and 3D-printed enclosures.
I do all hand soldering myself, from 01005 passives up to large BGAs (including Intel-class CPU packages), and can handle small production runs.
Strong hands-on bring-up and debugging: oscilloscope, signal generator, fault-finding down to component level.
I also build the companion software around the hardware — configuration and test GUIs, flashing utilities, and small desktop tools (C#/.NET, Python) — using AI-assisted development to deliver them quickly.
I'm currently moving into higher-complexity designs (6-layer stackups, high-speed interfaces); I haven't yet done FPGA + DDR routing in production, but I'm actively building toward it and open to projects where I can grow.

    • • Designed digital PCBs using Altium Designer, including schematic capture, component selection, and layout for up to 4-layer boards.
    • • Deeply involved in bring-up, assembly, and debugging of high-speed digital prototype PCBs, including SoC- and FPGA-based designs, working closely with PCB design engineers during validation and troubleshooting.
    • • Hands-on experience with microcontroller-based systems (AVR and STM32), including hardware integration, low-level bring-up, peripheral testing, and firmware debugging.
    • • Supported hardware verification and quality assurance of custom-designed PCB assemblies manufactured by external vendors, including inspection, functional validation, and feedback for design and manufacturing improvements.
    • • Performed advanced PCB rework and repair on high-density boards, including BGA, LGA, and fine-pitch components, using hot-air tools, soldering irons, and IR rework stations; familiar with automated BGA/LGA rework systems.
    • • Conducted fault analysis, diagnostics, and reverse engineering of electronic devices, often in cases where technical documentation was incomplete or unavailable, to identify root causes, understand circuit functionality, and restore full operation.
    • • Extensive hands-on experience with electronic measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, laboratory power supplies, signal/ function generators, logic analyzer and related instruments, used for signal integrity checks, timing analysis, and functional verification.
