Boulanger Second Life is a division specializing in the refurbishment and sale of pre-owned products.

My collaboration at Boulanger had a dual objective:

- Implement an IT tool for purchasing products from individuals.

- Renovate the tools for managing the second life cycle of products.

My mission was to define the IT project scope in collaboration with the Supply Chain teams and other stakeholders, aiming for traceability and performance optimization to ensure the activity's profitability.

Thanks to my specialization in Supply Chain, I focused specifically on product valorization, proposing IT solutions for diagnostics, database creation, and decision-making. The priority objective in project management was to implement IT solutions that optimize the refurbishment and sales process by applying the optimal process to each product based on the conducted diagnosis.

My collaboration with Supplygroup allowed me to manage internal projects, such as the redesign of Supply Chain management IT systems. More importantly, we focused on creating customized solutions for our clients to optimize their operations and achieve efficiency in the long term.

We worked with companies with various objectives:

- Expand internationally and/or into e-commerce.

- Find IT solutions for Supply Chain management and performance tracking.

- Reduce carbon footprint by proposing effective, economical, and sometimes faster solutions.

The mission focused on three main areas:

1. Logistics: A two-stage objective:

a- Redefine the relationship with the logistics provider.

b- Optimize performance by implementing KPIs.

2. Downstream transport - order delivery. An objective involving:

a- Analysis of the transport market by type: express, courier, bulky.

b- Reconfiguration of transport partners.

c- Establishment of management rules for optimizing each transport based on its specificities (weight, volume, destination, number of packages, order origin).

3. Reverse logistics: We set an objective to optimize the number of products from return flows (withdrawal, damaged goods, after-sales service) to give them a second life through several solutions:

a- Management of a spare parts inventory: with the creation of a parts cataloging project.

b- Creation of repair lines for certain products: a solution to restore products to new condition.

c- Creation of a quality standard with the logistics provider to clearly define the process and increase standardization in decision-making.
