For a laboratory creation project in the region, I had to create a 50-liter pilot station for microorganism production. This is a complex process that requires both specific and varied knowledge, meticulous planning, and careful execution. To boost performance, I applied Lean at every stage. It's essential! ✍

• Define objectives, roadmap, and indicators.

• Design and develop the detailed production process at lab and pilot scale.

• Design culture media. Define necessary equipment, infrastructure, and facilities.

• Assess required resources (products, equipment, personnel, budget).

• Select specific equipment and fittings needed and obtain quotes.

• Proceed with the purchase, installation, and calibration of equipment and products.

• Isolate and identify strains of interest. Test culture media. Perform lab productions and then real-world conditions.

• Adjust parameters and compositions to optimize production yield and quality.

• Qualification of facilities (technical, quality, performance, reproducibility, and repeatability).

• Ensure the pilot station complies with regulations.

• Finalize detailed documentation (procedures, operating methods, safety instructions, etc.).

• A production station capable of producing all non-photosynthetic strains aerobically or anaerobically.

• Minimal footprint.

• Very low and controlled installation cost.

• High profitability.

• Controlled production (purity, concentration, time, costs...).

• Project completed 4 months ahead of schedule!

European leader in military explosives, powders, and combustible objects, the EURENCO group also supplies explosives for the civil sector (oil and gas drilling, mining) and has an activity in fuel additives. My main responsibilities were:

• Represent site Quality at the Management Committee and with the DGA (General Directorate for Armaments).

• Implement the quality approach, ensure the deployment of the quality system and associated KPIs.

• Site and Group reporting (AIC, SIM, Quality Committee).

• Lead and ensure, with the team, the handling of external anomalies (customer complaints and audit deviations) and internal ones.

• Conduct/supervise Internal/External Audits (ISO 9001, AQAP, BVT, Customer).

• Conduct/Supervise quality documentation, product release, and customer acceptance.

• Manage the site's Quality team.

• Deploy and support continuous improvement initiatives.
