My responsibilities at Kuzzle are varied, and I am involved throughout the company's value chain.

Development/DevOps:

- Development of the product core in Node.js

- Backend development in Node.js for our various clients' projects

- Automation of our DevOps processes with Docker, Terraform, Travis CI, AWS

- Application of the Extreme Programming methodology in projects

- Implementation of Gitlab and Mattermost within the company

Studio-HB is a web agency specializing in web application development with Rails and agile methods.

I had the opportunity to work on numerous projects and technical challenges, including:

- Development of cross-site synchronization via REST API

- Use of the Service Object pattern and its integration in TDD

- Development of a video hosting site with storage on S3 and Elastic Search

- Installation and configuration of Mattermost within the development ecosystem

- Configuration of production servers for a Rails environment

What I gained from this experience: Primarily backend development with Ruby and its companion Rails, metaprogramming, testing with Rspec or Minitest, good knowledge of the main Gems, system administration and shell scripting, Coffeescript, a bit of front-end in HTML/CSS, and above all, a lot of good humor :-)
