Education
- Software EngineerUCAUCE2025With a background in both Software Engineering and Animation and Visual Effects Engineering, I have developed a strong foundation that bridges technical development with creative and immersive experiences. Over the past several years, I’ve combined academic growth with hands on professional work, focusing on the application of emerging technologies particularly virtual and augmented reality in education, therapy, and cultural innovation. My work spans a range of projects, including: A VR application for Meta Quest 2 designed to support individuals with autism in recognizing facial expressions and emotions. A VR-based solution to help reduce anxiety in children visiting the dentist. Design and deployment of VR classrooms, along with various educational and institutional websites. Development of marketplace platforms for university related initiatives. Management of digital advertising and technical operations for the VR LATAM community website. Two museum collaborations: Bugs in Red, where I used photogrammetry to create 3D models of insect specimens. An AR enhanced exhibit, where I contributed to the interactive software development. I am currently involved in two projects: One explores the use of VR as an alternative to traditional phobia exposure therapy, providing immersive, controlled therapeutic environments. The other focuses on mapping and visualizing cultural heritage across the region, combining geographic data with digital storytelling. My journey reflects a commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology to serve education, mental health, and culture always seeking to turn innovative ideas into impactful digital experiences.
