Adriana Cordeiro

I am Brazilian and have a degree in Portuguese and English Philology in Rio de Janeiro

(Brazil). I have been a Portuguese and English teacher since 2000.

Between 1998 and 2003, I participated in various translation courses, workshops, and conferences. Between 2013 and 2014, I specialized in CAT tools and translation project management.

I have worked as a professional translator and proofreader since 2000 and have translated the following language pairs: Portuguese-English, Portuguese-Spanish, English-Portuguese, Spanish-Portuguese, Catalan-Portuguese.

Some of my clients included HP, Häagen-Dazs, CIDEU, and Palladium Hotel Group.

Among the projects I translated are academic articles, medical equipment manuals, urban planning articles, short film scripts, cultural projects, magazine articles on cinema, travel, culture, health, and trends in art, music, literature, technology, fashion...

I also did the complete translation of two Conversation Guides, in Portuguese and Spanish.

I am a very responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented person.

I also work with SDL Trados and professional transcription tools to achieve the best results.

I have worked as a Brazilian Voice Talent & Bilingual Supervisor in Barcelona since 2014.
