As part of a machine telemaintenance project for optometry equipment, Essilor provides an intelligent cube called "Essibox." The cube allows communication between different machines in the same store, performs adjustments, and communicates them in real-time to other machines. The Essibox also allows for on-demand updates and remote adjustments requested by the optician. It is also a tool that reports operating errors and automatically schedules interventions from the Cloud. Machine telemaintenance provides significant time savings by avoiding technician interventions at customer sites.
