Trained at the Centre d'écriture et de communication (Paris) and having worked for four years in the correction department of Actes Sud publishing, I have been offering my services in copy editing, proofreading, and correction as a freelancer for four years.

After discussing with you the level of intervention you desire on the manuscript, we will agree on a quote (€280/day: indicative rate).

I then perform:

– In-depth reading of the text (coherence, logical connections);

– Spelling, syntax, and grammar correction;

– Verification of factual data (proper nouns, dates);

– Punctuation standardization;

– Harmonization of footnotes;

– Bibliographic standardization;

– Layout verification (widows and orphans, subheadings, hyphenation, kerning, etc.).
