• Conduct integrity diagnostics and corrosion assessments on gas transmission pipelines in terrestrial environments (coatings, cathodic protection, AC/DC electrical influences, soil nature, etc.).

• Define and implement corrosion control strategies, including prevention, monitoring, and corrective actions adapted to operational constraints.

• Lead field and laboratory testing campaigns to validate technical solutions related to the performance of cathodic protection systems and materials (backfills, sacrificial anodes, insulating joints, coating integrity, etc.).

• Plan, coordinate, and ensure technical monitoring of tests, ensuring consistency with HSE requirements, site constraints, and operating conditions.

• Interpret investigation results and establish operational recommendations, aiming to improve the durability, safety, and availability of facilities.

• Deploy regulatory and normative compliance action plans, integrating environmental requirements and applicable ISO standards. Ensure technical interface with clients and project teams.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of corrosion engineering methods, by participating in the standardization of procedures, the development of internal tools, and the sharing of best practices. Write complete technical deliverables.

• Conduct physico-chemical analysis and control of nuclear environments, ensuring monitoring of critical parameters (pH, redox, metallic species concentration, contaminants, etc.) and using results for decision support.

• Develop and industrialize uranium recovery and/or immobilization processes, adapted to operational and safety constraints (separation, fixation, precipitation, adsorption, extraction).

• Optimize process performance (yield, selectivity, robustness, chemical stability), integrating safety, cost, industrial feasibility, and effluent management criteria.

• Participate in fuel cycle activities: conversion, reprocessing, uranium/plutonium recycling, actinide chemistry.

• Corrosion studies and material behavior in irradiated environments (water-metal interaction, radiolysis, chemical aging). Design and implement anti-corrosion protection solutions.

• Validate the effectiveness of coatings and anti-corrosion solutions, through accelerated aging tests, tests in representative environments, and performance analysis.

• Ensure technical monitoring and project management, including milestone planning, progress meeting organization, risk management, and adherence to quality/cost/deadline objectives.

• Regulatory compliance and nuclear safety: compliance with ASN/IRSN standards, management of discharges, substance traceability.

• Analyze and control the reactivity of iron hydroxides with oxidizers such as chromate ions, for industrial applications in surface treatment or effluent treatment.

• Study and model electron transfers at solid/liquid interfaces to optimize passivation kinetics and material durability.

• Develop and validate an industrial kinetic model to predict the interaction between iron compounds and oxidizers under operational conditions.

• Design and characterize functional composite nanomaterials (noble metals/iron hydroxides).

• Develop industrial electrochemical and biosensors, based on nanocomposites and enzymes (e.g., glucose detection), with a focus on reliability, repeatability, and integration in real environments.

• Ensure technical monitoring and project coordination, prepare progress meetings, and supervise the planning and execution of experiments.

• Transfer developed results and solutions to industrial or operational applications, presenting work to internal teams and industrial partners.
