    Context:
    The company faced several issues related to the automated distribution of files via Talend.
    To address these challenges, a new distribution system based on SharePoint and controlled by Talend jobs was designed as part of the SMTP project.
    To overcome these limitations and modernize the entire file distribution chain, DPD-FRANCE launched the SMTP Project. This name refers to the replacement of the tSendMail component with a sending solution directly based on the SMTP protocol integrated with Azure AD.

    Allianz-Assurance's operational database was facing performance issues. It contained several years of personal data, leading to overload and impacting processing performance.
    The objective was to keep only 13 months of data in the active database and automatically archive the rest in a Google storage solution, an environment subject to LPD/GDPR compliance requirements.

    Key Achievements:
    • Analysis of the existing system and definition of management rules for identifying data older than 13 months,
    • Active participation in Agile ceremonies (daily meeting, planning, review, retrospective),
    • Design and development of Talend jobs for DWH population,
    • Development of advanced SQL queries and stored procedures in PL/SQL,
    • Development of Shell scripts to automate and orchestrate certain processes and ancillary tasks,
    • Performance of unit tests and complete validation of Talend flows before production deployment,
    • Archiving of DWH historical data to Google Cloud Storage,

    The objective was to centralize and ensure the reliability of data from the sorting center's operational systems within a Data Warehouse, in order to improve flow traceability, anticipate congestion, and optimize logistics operations.
    In this context, my work primarily focused on the design, population, and reliability of the Data Warehouse.
