Context:

France Travail - Strategic project for modernizing the IS for job seeker enrollment management, within a cloud-native microservices architecture (TAS and K8s).

Objective:

Develop and secure orchestrating REST APIs for creating job seeker accounts, manage data migration, and ensure service continuity in dual run.

• Design and implement orchestrating REST services within a microservices architecture (Spring Boot, Webflux, Redis, PostgreSQL)

• Perform data migrations from Redis to Oracle and manage Spring Boot version upgrades

• Set up and maintain Concourse CI/CD pipelines (build, tests, deployment) on FAB and Production environments

• Integrate RabbitMQ (Saga pattern) and Apache Kafka for inter-service event communication

• Apply Clean Code principles, lead code reviews, and provide technical guidance to junior developers

• Develop E2E automated tests (Cypress) and monitor production using Dynatrace

• Integrate an AI module into the IDE to improve productivity and code quality

• Results:

Data migration completed without service interruption thanks to dual run, with reliable services deployed for account creation and enrollment requests.

Business continuity ensured throughout the transition phase to the new architecture.

Improved API performance and scalability, and more reliable processing through an event-driven architecture.

Reduction in production incidents and enrollment process anomalies, with adherence to delivery timelines.

Context:

RTE (French electricity transmission network operator) – Overhaul of the land asset management, authorization permits, and infrastructure monitoring platform, integrating advanced GIS services.

• Objective:

Design and develop the new INFOTER 2 full-stack platform (Angular + Spring Boot microservices + ArcGIS GIS), migrate data from the old system, and ensure a complete transition.

• Design and develop Angular interfaces (client UX) and backend REST services (data insertion, update, business logic processing)

• Implement an application back-proxy for communication between the mapping server and the front-end

• Integrate GIS/mapping services (ArcSDE, ArcGIS Pro) and manage IDG connections for map data

• Perform data migration from INFOTER v1, ensuring quality, integrity, and traceability

• Estimate, cost tasks, and manage project workloads; manage multi-environment deployments

• Results:

Successful deployment of the new INFOTER 2 platform, offering a modernized and high-performance solution for asset and GIS data management. Data migration from INFOTER v1 completed with quality, integrity, and traceability. Smooth transition with no major user interruptions. Significant improvement in business tool performance and usability. ESRI to IGN migration delivered on time. Successful platform adoption by RTE teams, and developer autonomy on the simulated GIS environment.

Context: Pôle Emploi – Strategic migration of legacy COBOL services to a modern Java/Spring Boot/Webflux architecture, while maintaining business continuity.

• Objective: Rewrite all COBOL services into reactive Java 17 microservices (Spring WebFlux), ensure application security (OWASP), and deliver an RSA front-end application.

• Rewrite COBOL services in Java 17 / Spring Boot and develop reactive microservices (Spring WebFlux)

• Implement an API Gateway (Spring Cloud Gateway), an OpenAPI/Swagger generator, and resilience features (Resilience4j)

• Fix OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities (SonarQube) and secure secrets using Vault and Spring Cloud Config

• Develop unit tests (JUnit/Mockito), architecture tests (ArchUnit), and performance tests (K6); automate API tests (Karate)

• Monitor production (Kibana, AppDynamics, Grafana) and ensure continuous library maintenance

• Results: Modernized architecture delivered on time, zero residual critical OWASP vulnerabilities, performance validated by K6, new skills acquired in reactive Spring WebFlux.
