Aandeerr Calvo Asensio

I am Ander Calvo Asensio, a final-year student in the Degree in Computer Engineering for Management and Information Systems, combining my studies with a paid internship scholarship. My profile combines solid technical training with practical experience in real development environments.

I am currently finishing my Final Degree Project, focused on the development and integration of intelligent algorithms for energy management in industrial environments. The project consists of designing, training, and evaluating different Machine Learning models—including linear regression, Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, and recurrent neural networks (LSTM)—to predict daily energy consumption in industrial facilities with photovoltaic generation and battery storage systems. The final objective is to integrate the most optimal model into a real Energy Management System (EMS), enabling intelligent decisions about when to charge or discharge batteries and maximize self-consumption.

The work involves the entire data project lifecycle: exploratory analysis, cleaning, feature engineering, training with real data from 2025-2026, evaluation using metrics such as MAE, RMSE, and MAPE, and functional integration into production.

Beyond the technical aspects, I am a person with broad interests: I play football competitively—this year my team won the league and was promoted—and I am comfortable in multilingual environments, with fluency in Spanish, Basque, and French.
