Karl Schmidt Spedition GmbH & Co. KG implemented SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud to create a unified and future-proof IT platform for central business processes. The project's goal was the digitalization and standardization of business-critical processes in bulk logistics.

The focus of the initiative was on mapping central logistics and administration processes, introducing modern cloud technologies, and creating a stable and scalable basis for future digital developments. This was intended to unlock efficiency potential, harmonize processes, and lay the foundation for innovative services in the area of bulk logistics.

During my involvement in the project, I was responsible for the implementation of SAP forms in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. My area of responsibility included the SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP FI, and SAP PP modules. The focus was on concept development, implementation, testing, and coordination with the business departments and the customer. Another central part of my work was dealing with the SAP Integration Suite on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), particularly the connection and support of interfaces, such as with Elster, and other external systems. After the successful go-live, I also took on tasks within Application Management Support (AMS) to ensure stable operation and to implement emerging requirements or adjustments promptly.

At ERPVisors GmbH, I worked as a Senior Software Consultant in the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment. My focus was on the development and customization of SAP Forms (Adobe Forms, Smartforms, SAPscript) as well as the integration of cloud applications via the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and the SAP Integration Suite.

Through my experience in the SAP and cloud environment, I was able to significantly contribute to the successful implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions for customers.

At TEAG Thüringer Energie AG, a leading company in the utilities sector, a comprehensive migration project was carried out. The project's goal was to migrate the existing SAP IS-U R/3 systems to the modern SAP IS-U S/4HANA platform. This migration was necessary to improve the efficiency and performance of the IT infrastructure and to better handle future requirements.

As part of the project, extensive customizing measures were carried out in the new S/4HANA system. This included both adapting existing settings and implementing new customizations. In addition, numerous Z-developments, i.e., customer-specific enhancements, had to be migrated and new requirements implemented. The project aimed to optimize the business processes of TEAG Thüringer Energie AG and to create the foundation for future innovations.

Analysis and Migration of Z-Developments:Performing ATC checks to analyze and verify the compatibility of existing Z-developments with the S/4HANA system. Migration and transport of these developments into the new system.

Customizing in S/4HANA:Adaptation and implementation of customizations in the new S/4HANA system to meet the specific requirements of TEAG Thüringer Energie AG.

Implementation of New Requirements:Development and implementation of new requirements in the S/4HANA system using Modern ABAP and ABAP OO. Ensuring functionality through comprehensive testing.

Documentation:Creation and maintenance of project documentation in Jira to ensure transparent and traceable project execution.
