10 years in cloud native engineering. I had the chance to audit 100+ companies, where I saw every possible architecture and every kind of cost problem. I design cloud architecture from scratch, multi-account AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, all of it, with cost efficiency built in from day one. I also fix the ones that weren't: $80K → $40K/month at one SaaS company, 50% cost reduction at another, 30% at enterprise scale.
Most recently at Blocks, I authored the rules engine behind the 20% guaranteed savings product, customers average 25%.
