Ignotitia is my own independent data engineering consultancy. I operate as the owner, taking on senior engineering and technical lead engagements with external clients on a B2B basis. Two active client engagements with multiple projects are running under this entity.

– Built MVP data pipelines for a financial startup, designing ingestion, transformation, and indexing workflows to support RAG use cases using LLMs.

– Refactored and migrated Python-based ingestion code into PySpark/Databricks, achieving a 1,000x performance increase for Generative AI data preparation.

– Built scalable ingestion and processing pipelines for large-scale marine and geospatial datasets, supporting trend analysis and predictive environmental modeling in collaboration with DS/ML teams.

– Managed multiple teams (4+) as the technical lead, bridging the gap to project stakeholders.

– Decision making on data architecture, project estimates and set up project from scratch.

– Established company-wide development and deployment standards; architected automated CI/CD pipelines for Databricks (DBX) and Azure Data Factory (ADF).

– Designed and optimized high-throughput batch and real-time pipelines using ADF and Databricks.

– Integrated diverse sources (SFTP, REST APIs, DBs, Microsoft Graph, ArcGIS) and unstructured data (PDFs/PPTs/xlsx) into unified Data Lakes.
