Sofia Lloyd

I joined the Hong Kong team as a Creative in January 2016. Specialising in print I designed the 2D graphics for major brand projects and saw it through to the output stage, whether it be large exhibition graphics, signage or billboards, down to invitations and lanyards. Imagination has also broadened my skills way beyond just print, I also gained experience in more digital layouts for screen, presentation design for pitches and presenting for others.

I joined Geronimo as a Junior Designer, working alongside the head of design, looking after all aspects of marketing for the pubs. Geronimo Inns has venues all over London, focussing on great food, wine and private hire space. Moving out of my junior role at the end of 2014, I then became the sole designer for the company, managing jobs for 37 pubs. Duties included the planning and designing of all seasonal campaign collateral from the theme to the printing stage. Collateral included booklets, beer mats, sending emailers, digital promotion, menu formats, promotional flyers, posters and photography. Also designing the quarterly newspaper and creating the back of house marketing for pub managers. I also dealt with many new pub launches for which collateral had to be planned, designed and printed to tight deadlines, and tender presentations for new pub sites. It has taught me to work well under intense pressure and deadlines which also developed my design skills no end in this role.
