Since 1991, I have been working in the insurance industry as an IT specialist and have extensive experience in developing and optimizing Oracle-based applications. Since 2019, I have been working as an external consultant for a regional insurance company in Stuttgart, where I designed and implemented an agent portal with Oracle APEX – completely remotely from Istanbul.

- PL/SQL & Apex: Migration from Oracle Forms to APEX, development of complex applications such as agent portals and reporting modules (PDF/Excel).

- Web Services: Integration and calling of external web services directly via PL/SQL.

- Parallel Processing: Development of a mechanism for automatic fragmentation of large data sets into parallel processes – with drastic time savings.

- Data Protection & Security: Implementation of data protection requirements with Oracle Labeling and context-based access control.

- Triggers & Logging: Central logging of all table changes in XML format including automatic view creation for tabular evaluation.

- Report Engine: In-house developed reporting module for creating PDF and Excel files.

- SQL Tuning: Optimization of complex queries and performance enhancement.

- Automated logging and test script creation for Oracle.

- Phonetic Search: Implementation of Cologne Phonetics to improve "LIKE" search queries.

- Data Migration: Extensive experience with structured data relocation and template-based Oracle Forms.

- Multilingual Functions: Number-to-word conversion in German, Turkish, and English.
