I've spent my career at the intersection of HR and technology: building and running HRIS functions, leading complex system implementations, and, more recently, helping organizations think carefully about how to use AI in HR in ways that are practical, safe,

and genuinely useful.

My background spans both sides of the desk. As Group HRIS Manager at WSH Group (a major UK hospitality and FM business), I led the in-house HRIS function. Through Icarius Consulting, my own boutique HRIT advisory practice (founded in 2011), I've worked with FTSE 250, retail, and professional services organisations on HRIS strategy, transformation, and AI enablement.
