Rida Dkair

Graduated with a Master's degree (Master 2), with a background in MOE project management and nearly 20 years of experience as an Oracle and SQL Server DBA, I have participated in the implementation and operation of production environments in high availability contexts. My experience as a developer and project manager has allowed me to understand the constraints of business and project teams.

My experience in the banking and retail sectors – both in large and small teams – my service and communication skills, my dynamism, and my great adaptability are valuable assets for expert or support missions.

Throughout my professional life as a DBA, I have worked with Oracle and SQL Server technologies, being equally comfortable with one system as the other, from SQL Server 2000 and Oracle 9i to SQL Server AlwaysOn and Oracle MAA, Exadata, and ODA.

During one of my assignments, I participated in the complete development of a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) and its implementation during disaster simulations. This plan was based on vSphere HA, P2V virtualization, and storage and database replication technologies. I also had the opportunity to work on Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for more restricted strategic areas.

During my recent assignments, I had the opportunity to participate in the implementation of several Exadata, an ODA, and a ZFS.

Previously, I worked on integrating Microsoft Dynamics AX and migrating a standalone environment to RAC. I am also familiar with SQL Server migration procedures.
