As an interim manager, replacing the head of consolidation, I was responsible for ensuring the smooth closing process until the arrival of the successor.

With a team of 2 people, in addition to the standard consolidation processes (intercompany, equity variations, cash flow statements, etc.), I specifically managed issues related to IAS 21, IFRS 9, and IFRS 16, as well as the preparation and analysis of the notes to the consolidated financial statements.

I supported an industrial SME specializing in metal recycling in its operational and strategic transformation, towards a more circular and resilient model.

My main contributions:

🔹 Optimization of industrial performance: improvement of sorting processes, structuring of production and material quality data, implementation of management indicators.

🔹 Structuring of strategy: support to the management committee on key investment, organization, and development decisions, integrating economic constraints and regulatory issues.

🔹 CSR and circularity focus: in-depth work on material flow valorization, understanding of downstream supply chains, and anticipation of regulatory impacts (taxonomy, exports, etc.).

🔹 Bridge role between operational, financial, and management teams, facilitating dialogue around common performance and sustainability goals.

This experience allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the industrial realities of recycling, the concrete levers of circularity, and the balance to be struck between operational constraints and long-term ambitions.
