About Pierre

There is often a gap between the design of a device and its actual use: it is very difficult to predict how individuals will adopt a tool, and in turn, they are not always aware of the possibilities that could be offered to them. My work consists of bridging these two levels through user research: conducting interviews, observations, and co-design workshops.

Beyond trendy technological choices (chatbots yesterday, AI and the metaverse today), I am committed to grounding innovation projects in the concrete reality of users to help design sustainable products.

With 7 years of experience in various fields (transport, industry, health, banking, hospitality, etc.), I mainly conduct two types of interventions:

**> User Research (discovery)**: through ethnographic observations and interviews, I diagnose a usage situation – what motivates users' current choices? What are today's pain points? What are the levers for improvement?

**> User Testing**: through in-context or lab testing sessions, I study with participants the usability of a device, the emotions it evokes, and their appetite for its features.
