BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) is the global investment banking division of BNP Paribas, serving corporations, financial institutions, and governments in over 56 countries.

Within the Third Party Risk Referential team at BNP Paribas CIB in Paris, composed of 30 people, I participated in the implementation of the Customer Referential.

This referential is fed by CRM, KYC, and Client Onboarding systems to provide a 360° view, with a volume of 4 million de-duplicated clients.

We were organized into squads of 12 people. My squad consisted of:

o 1 MDM Technical Lead

o 3 MDM Developers

o 1 Java Technical Lead

o 4 Java Developers

o 1 Product Owner

o 2 Testers

As MDM Technical Lead, my responsibilities included:

- Recommending and validating the technical solution against functional needs

- Managing and coordinating development teams in India

- Technical Lead for Informatica MDM (5 developers)

- Supporting Business teams

- Monitoring delivery quality

- Monitoring and reporting on data quality, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective action plans

I joined the Architecture, Process & Data Squad. The objective was to participate in the implementation of a Third-Party Referential to define the target customer vision:

• Centralize customer data from the technical account referential and CRM

• Define a new customer vision based on the concept of a third party rather than a technical account

As MDM Lead, my responsibilities included:

- Assisting business teams in expressing their needs

- Writing technical and functional specifications

- Managing and coordinating the development teams of the integrator in Spain

- Recommending and validating the solution against functional needs

- Defining and coordinating the implementation of technical aspects

- Deploying and testing deliverables from the development teams

- Change management following the implementation of MDM

During the year I spent in Australia, I had an exceptional professional and personal experience.

I took intensive English courses for 6 months at Lexis English school in Brisbane.

These courses allowed me to significantly improve my language proficiency and gain confidence in daily interactions.

In parallel, I actively prospected for professional assignments, meeting many local contacts and discovering the Australian professional market.

This immersion provided me with cultural openness and great adaptability.

I developed linguistic skills, an international network, and a strong ability to thrive in a stimulating multicultural environment.
