I work with patients suffering from genetic diseases. Geneticists call on me to organize the sequencing of their patients' genomes as well as those of their relatives. I handle the administrative part of this work (preparing files, presenting them in consultation meetings) as well as welcoming patients on the day of sample collection (explaining the test and signing consent forms) and finally following up on the files (sending samples to the laboratory performing the sequencing, monitoring the progress of the analysis until the results are delivered).

For this position, I developed course and tutorial sheets for students enrolled in their first year of medical school or for high school seniors planning to enroll in medicine the following year.

I took the courses taught by university professors and created study sheets, including colorful explanatory diagrams.

I also designed practice exams for the students.

Finally, I taught courses both in person in Rouen and remotely.

For this position, I provided training sessions lasting from 1 to 3 days for adults working in laboratories (mainly technicians and engineers).

These training sessions focused on high-throughput sequencing, bioinformatics analysis, and biochemistry and molecular biology techniques that can be implemented in a laboratory.

I was responsible for designing the training materials, delivering the training, and designing the end-of-training assessment.
