I joined the Cloud Architecture team of the CTO Office to lead the modernization and standardization of AWS environments.

The team consisted of:

● 1 Lead Cloud Architect

● 10 Cloud Architects

● 40 Cloud Engineers

As Lead Cloud Architect, I was responsible for:

● Designing and improving the overall multi-account cloud architecture

● Standardizing cloud technologies and processes across the group

● Supporting project teams in their AWS adoption

● Supporting enterprise architects in AWS cloud standardization

● Improving and securing the group's AWS landing zone

● Leading cloud onboarding for CMA regions (USA, LATAM, MEA, Europe)

● Contributing to multi-cloud projects (Azure governance, GCP landing zone)

● Participating in architecture committees and validating technical choices

My results:

- I helped structure the collaboration between platform and delivery squads.

The objective of this structuring was to ensure consistency between the design and execution of architectures.

- I supported the organizational evolution of the cloud department as it transformed into specialized squads, ensuring technical continuity and knowledge transfer between teams.

- I contributed to the standardization of the cloud environment for the Europe, USA, and Middle East regions.

Sciences-U and YNOV are higher education institutions specializing in IT and digital, training students in cloud, cybersecurity, and development professions.

I was engaged as a professional trainer to design and lead training modules dedicated to cloud architectures on AWS.

As a trainer, I was responsible for:

● Designing a curriculum focused on Cloud Computing & AWS (M1/M2)

● Leading courses on key AWS services (IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, etc.)

● Introducing students to IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Boto3

● Supervising practical work related to cloud architecture, security, and resilience

● Creating and leading Game Days, technical labs, and end-of-module assessments

I contributed to the upskilling of over 80 students, the creation of reusable content for the school, and pedagogical alignment with industry practices.

The company employs 20,000 people in 55 countries.

I joined the AWS Infrastructure team to participate in setting up a secure and automated infrastructure.

The team consisted of:

● 8 cloud architects.

As an AWS Solutions Architect, I was responsible for:

● Automating deployments and updates via CloudFormation

● Implementing SSM automation documents for patching Windows and Linux instances

● Managing the security and configuration of Workspaces on AWS

● Overseeing backup and patching policies

● Migrating application architectures to AWS

● Migrating servers to AWS managed services (FTP to an AWS managed FTPS service)

● Optimizing cost strategy and EC2 instance types

● Automating deployments and updates via Terraform

● Documenting and transferring best practices to internal teams

My results:

- I contributed to the security of several dozen critical instances.

- I helped reduce costs by approximately 20%.

- I contributed to the industrialization of patch management via SSM and Python scripts.
