Markus Byhan

With 24 years of professional experience in German medium-sized industries, I possess extensive expertise in various areas. My career began in sales of complex printed circuit boards, where I worked successfully for six years. I then moved into procurement for an aerospace supplier, where I was employed for 16 years, 12 of which were in management positions. This diverse experience allows me to analyze and optimize business processes from different perspectives. In my role as Head of Material Procurement, I acted as the central point of contact for customers and authorities to meet regulatory and contractual requirements. This included performance measurement and visualization of KPIs to ensure process quality.

The demanding requirements of the highly regulated aviation and defense industries are very familiar to me. As a certified aerospace auditor, I managed suppliers and monitored compliance with all quality standards. I also passed on my knowledge as a trainer for commercial and industrial clerks. My education as a Diplom-Kaufmann (certified business administrator) forms the basis of my business management understanding, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in IT Forensics & Cybercrime, which has expanded my competencies in data analysis and security. Since 2020, I have been combining my experience with data science methods to support companies through in-depth data analysis and to optimize their business processes based on data. My goal is to enable well-founded decisions and create competitive advantages.
