Translating complex business requirements and processes into efficient, well thought out data models and KPIs, improving data accessibility and relevance for business users.

Engineering advanced and scalable data flows using Data Build Tool (DBT) and Airflow Cloud Composer to provide reliable and accurate data to the business.

Collaborating with cross-functional product teams to identify, define, and ingest new and missing datasets into the company’s data lake, leveraging data contract solutions to maintain data integrity across various platforms.

Leading migration projects by managing the seamless transition of sourcing data from legacy tools to new tools, preserving data integrity and ensuring historical data was not lost.

Optimising data models to improve query performance and reduce processing times.

Contributing to the development of CICD pipelines, to automate the deployment and testing of analytics code to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

Creating automated workflows using n8n, to provide alerting solutions for the data governance team, ensuring proactive monitoring and maintenance of the data environment.

Developing internal tools and processes, including Docker-based solutions, Python scripts and CICD pipelines.

Developing objects, attributes, metrics and dashboard visualisations in Microstrategy to consume data from the data warehouse and deliver business intelligence and analytics solutions to >1,500 internal users in Veepee Group.

Communicating with product teams in order to gather requirements, manage expectations and deliver Microstrategy dashboards that deliver valuable insights to the internal users in Veepee.
