About Lucas

I help founders and companies transform an idea into a real product.

My role is to structure a project from the start: define a clear MVP, choose a solid architecture, and build a scalable product without unnecessary complexity.

I mainly work on SaaS projects, platforms, and business tools. When relevant, I also integrate automation or AI components to improve certain workflows.

In parallel to my freelance work, I also develop my own products. I co-founded Mateleau, a SaaS platform connecting divers and dive centers, designed and developed from scratch.

Design and development of the MVP for Mateleau, a SaaS platform connecting divers and dive centers.

The project was conceived from end to end: product definition, technical architecture, application development, and deployment.

The platform allows, among other things, managing dive bookings, scheduling outings, and online payments, while simplifying processes for dive centers.

The project includes backend design, system architecture, user interface development, and integration of payment services and necessary automation for the platform's operation.

    Payment and Course Access Stabilization
    EDUCATION AND E-LEARNING
    October 2025 - October 2025
    **Context**:

I intervened to stabilize an e-learning platform where we experienced checkout abandonment, subscriptions not always granting/revoking lesson access, and significant manual effort from the support team.

    What I did (specifically).

**Unified Stripe + PayPal Checkout**. I merged the two flows into a single page, managed UI states (disable/loader), frontend validation, and double-click prevention to avoid duplicate payments.

**Reliable Subscription Handling**. I created webhook endpoints (Stripe & PayPal) and mapped critical events (payment success/failure, update, cancellation, plan change) to a single internal subscription state.

**Access Rights Linked to Payment**. I added an "entitlements" layer: for each payment/subscription event, access to the relevant courses is immediately granted or revoked (no more "ghost accounts").

**Fullscreen Video Player**. I rebuilt the lesson page with a responsive fullscreen player to reduce friction and unnecessary clicks on mobile.

Clean Deployment. Short Flux Documentation(from "Pay" click to course access) + deployment checklist.
