Louis Wallerich

During my time at Salomon’s S/LAB and Future Lab, I learned the fundamentals of footwear design while working closely with innovation teams. This experience gave me the opportunity to contribute to advanced projects where performance, creativity, and experimentation were central. I developed a strong understanding of how to translate insights from elite athletes into functional design solutions. I also had the chance to design a Special Make-Up (SMU) concept, based on an early iteration from the Future Lab, which reinforced my ability to merge innovative thinking with brand identity and market relevance.

At Eben Studio, I contributed to the design of various furniture pieces such as desks, meeting tables, and room dividers. Beyond concept creation, I was involved in the full process from research and ideation to 3D concept development and design thinking workshops. This experience gave me valuable exposure to the production phase, allowing me to understand how design decisions translate into real, manufacturable products. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, I refined my skills in balancing aesthetics, functionality, and feasibility, while strengthening my ability to contribute to innovative and user-centered design solutions.

At HeyPongo!, I worked on the visual identity of the brand, contributing to the development of graphic elements and the creation of mock-ups for the new website. This role allowed me to strengthen my skills in Adobe Creative Suite while exploring how consistent branding can translate across digital platforms. I collaborated on refining the brand’s identity through layouts, iconography, and visual assets that supported both user experience and communication goals. This experience helped me sharpen my ability to combine creativity with coherence, ensuring that design choices aligned with HeyPongo!’s values and overall brand strategy.
