I am a young retiree (since Spring 2024). I spent most of my career (42 years) in Aeronautics. I also worked in nuclear power plant maintenance (7 years). The end of my career was at Safran, where I spent the last 24 years. My specialty is primarily Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): I was appointed Safran Group Senior Expert in NDT in 2011.
Beyond classic NDT methods (Ultrasound, X-ray Radiography, Eddy Currents, and Dye Penetrant Testing), I became a specialist in RX Tomography (12 years of experience and research). In parallel, I believe I have good knowledge in the field of Physical Measurements. I master industrial processes and was trained as a "Black Belt 6 Sigma" at GE Aviation in the USA.
Finally, having worked in R&D for the last 13 years, I was solicited as an auditor for Technology Readiness Level (TRL) assessments.
