I am an energitic and friendly developer that strives to deliver high quality work, whatever it is that I end up doing. I've managed small development teams and technology divisions within businesses, but I've always remained hands on and am very passionate about building new and exciting technologies.

As a developer, I worked across the entire stack. I'm happy to work on back end services. Using PHP / Laravel to create rest APIs working with MySQL databases. Creating front end applications using HTML, CSS, React, Next.js and Tailwind. I'm then happy to create the development and deployment pipelines from scritch to implement CI/CD for future updates. Create docker compose files for building the applications in development environments and implement code checking and testing as a requirement in GitHub.

The kind of applications I create are typically bespoke business applications. Pulling data from lots of different sources in single views for users to maximise their time for whatever task they need to complete. I create automated processes and workflows in ERPs, most experienced with NetSuite.

I've managed technology divisions and ecommerce platforms. Working with vendors to complete business projects. Creating project updates and reporting on ROI to boards of directors. Onboarding new applications and vendors where solutions are needed for the business. And managed engineers and teams of people.
