Gerardo Lamberti

I am a film and television editor, with a degree in editing from the Rome Film Academy (formerly NUCT) in Cinecittà. I ​​am currently a full member of the AMC (Associazione Editori Cinematografico e Televisivo) and co-founder of the production and post-production company Rea Film.

My workflow is based on mastery of the main industry standards, particularly Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Suite, and more. Since 2014, I have consolidated my experience in film, series, and documentaries, alternating between the roles of Editor, Assistant Editor, and Finisher.

As a Finisher, I have overseen the theatrical release of some of Italy's most important films, including The First King, 5 Is the Perfect Number, The Champion, and A Cross and a Delight.

As an Assistant Editor, I have collaborated on internationally renowned works presented at major festivals, such as The Wait and Hannah.

As an editor, I've worked on feature films such as Cronaca di una passione, television productions such as Eden, un pianeta da salvare, and short films, earning the Best Editing award at the Lago Film Fest 2019 for Departures.

To this rigorous artisanal foundation in the traditional editing room, I now combine the technical and advanced use of Generative Video AI, structurally integrating it into post-production workflows.
