Hello,
I have many years of experience in the development, debugging, and maintenance of Industrial IT systems combining Hardware and Software.
I only develop in VB.NET (I started with VB6). I do not use Web technologies (Cloud, etc.). This does not prevent me from leveraging all the possibilities offered by Ethernet and WiFi networks. All my applications use a Database (Access or MySQL). At a minimum for Logs, which are complete and detailed, allowing me for quick debugging.
I have been very interested in Industry 4.0 concepts.
With experience, I have adopted a very simplified 'Agile' methodology:
1. User surveys to thoroughly understand the subject and needs
2. Core development
3. Phased deployment after user feedback
4. System monitoring for quick debugging
My specialty is therefore the design of small, ultra-specialized, reliable systems tailored to needs.
My latest achievements:
- Application for processing (verification and consistency) and sending scanned documents to an FTP (HMI, Fujitsu fi-7180 scanner, FTP, Access Database, Zip/Unzip, TIFF document processing and printing, detailed logs, archiving)
- Ingredient expiration tracking application using SES Imagotag ESLs (RESTful API, Access Database, 1 BackLog exe and 1 HMI)
- Application for creating digital checklists based on speech synthesis and recognition and class serialization into XMLs. Note: Developed personally. It works but needs to be finished.
- Application for triggering missions for an Effidence AGV via API.
