Role and responsibilities
- Project Managerand **Full-stack Developer**: I managed direct client relations, organized key stages (scoping, development, testing, delivery), and adhered to the schedule (delivery planned for end of June).
- Priority and time management: coordination with the main SNCF contact, anticipation of constraints (API budget, client-side Azure environment unavailability), and implementation of a clear transition plan.
Technical Achievements
- Frontend development in React/Next.js (hosted on Azure Storage + CDN).
- Design of an Express/Node.js backend API, containerized and deployed on Azure Container Group.
- Implementation of an automated scraper to collect articles (Python/Node), with duplicate detection.
- Data storage on MongoDB (CosmosDB Azure).
- Integration of the OpenAI API for translation and summarization, with an architecture designed to allow future replacement with other AI models.
- Data caching to optimize performance (scalability tested for 5,000 to 15,000 articles/week).
