About Emmanuelle

Are you developing outdoor or water sports equipment? I design technical products thought for the outdoors — those that must work when the user is wet, on the move, feet in the water, high in the mountains by a river, or on a kayak in the middle of a lake.

After 7 years at Decathlon (Caperlan, Itiwit, Quechua), I founded Baroude, an independent studio specializing in the design and development of intensive-use products.

What I bring: complete mastery of the product cycle — from user brief to industrialization — with in-depth knowledge of technical materials (coated textiles, laminates, injected or thermoformed parts) and large-scale production constraints.

I work with independent outdoor brands, sports equipment SMEs, and outdoor gear startups that want to accelerate their design process without the cost of an in-house team.

I systematically integrate a reflection on product sustainability: choice of resistant and repairable materials, reduction of production offcuts and waste, design focused on longevity rather than obsolescence.

I intervene at every stage of the project:
— Analysis: market, uses, creative opportunities
— Design: research paths, sketches, CAD
— Development: supplier techpacks, prototype monitoring, ready-to-produce files, instruction illustrations, wireframes for design and model registration
