Emmanuel Goetz

With 15 years of experience in software development within startups, particularly in process modeling, simulation, optimization, and risk management, combined with solid expertise in climate-energy, transport, and biodiversity, I aim to continue improving the environmental, social, and digital performance of companies by leveraging the power of recent AI techniques, combined with other modeling techniques and human expertise.

On the Data side, I can manage the entire chain, from acquiring, analyzing, and processing structured or unstructured data, to choosing and refining algorithms (Statistics, Deep learning), to their production and visualization of results. I can work in various fields: NLP, Computer vision, time series.

I have a particular appetite for models that integrate multiple techniques. I always seek maximum interpretability, with the goal that users can fully adopt the developed tools and understand their power as well as their limitations.

For longer missions, I can act as a Product Owner in agile mode, coordinate requirements specification, and mentor small teams (5-6 people).

Even in full remote mode, I enjoy spending a few half-days in person with the people involved in the project.
