Clarifying a cross-border payments platform

IPT Africa helps HR and payroll teams send payments across Africa. When I joined, the website was unclear, communication was not aligned, and onboarding was manual, often taking months.

We strengthened the positioning around trust, speed, and simplicity and refocused the target audience on HR and payroll managers facing volatility and lack of visibility.

Key improvements:

Website structure and homepage message clarified

We strengthened the positioning around trust, speed, and simplicity and refocused on the users with the strongest traction: HR and payroll managers facing volatility and limited visibility.

I collaborated with Starly, a digital agency specializing in GovTech solutions, to improve the user experience of several dashboards dedicated to public services.

By addressing the needs of different departments and stakeholders, my role consisted of:

Auditing and improving existing dashboards to streamline workflows and make complex information more understandable and actionable.

Designing scalable UI components from a consistent design system to support future services and updates.

Working closely with developers and project teams to ensure feasibility and smooth implementation.

Prioritizing usability and accessibility, with particular attention to intuitive data visualization and user journeys, for both public servants and end-users.

This project required a constant balance between user needs and administrative constraints, to ensure dashboards that are both effective and sustainable.
