Context

Mersen, at the Saint Bonnet de mure plant, specializes in the manufacture of fuses for the nuclear sector. Given the growing demand, a division for the manufacture of busbars for the automotive sector for battery modules was also created. My first mission is to ensure quality during the prototyping phase of these new products for the BMW client. The second mission consisted of deploying the cleanliness approach within my UAP.

Context

BU Gas & Cryo specializes in the manufacture of cold boxes such as liquefiers, refrigerators, turbobrytons... Following an increase in the number of Major and Critical non-conformities related to the BU's growth, there was a need to strengthen the teams within the BU's quality department. Department primarily divided into MTO and ETO.

Missions

"MF" PROCESS OPTIMIZATION Creation of 3 procedures (3 key sub-assemblies of the MTO) for drafting Manufacturing File "MF" proposals for a flowchart Automated traceability table Implementation Elimination of non-value-added steps in the various procedure stages NEW PROCESS Administration of customer site non-conformities (Korea, China, USA, England, Sweden,....) for installation and commissioning scopes Treatment and monitoring of minor non-conformities (curative and corrective) Sending major non-conformities to AIC1 "Short Interval Management" for arbitration Animation of the ETO committee Process results with evolution of non-conformity treatment per project Focus per project on cause categories, significant/recurring problems, and links between projects if applicable Definition of action owners Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Treatment of major and critical non-conformities through full RCA or simplified RCA Organization of meetings Fact-finding Cause-and-effect diagram Action plan Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) Monitoring and follow-up Challenge - Case of RCA carried out with a CEA client following 4 successive failures of critical components for the operation of the installations.

Technical Environment

Context

Following an increase in customer complaints, the Group's quality management imposed the implementation of a Release Shipment Warrant (RSW) for Nuclear and Navy products. The shipment warrant is defined as a partial release process by the AQPP, from reception to final shipment, including production.
