At American Express Global Business Travel, I built and deployed an AI-powered receipt processing pipeline using Claude API, replacing a third-party OCR service entirely, reducing cost, and improving accuracy.
- Employees submit expense receipts ➡️ Claude AI reads and extracts structured data from receipt images ➡️ data validated and processed through the.NET backend ➡️ stored in existing systems
- Built a comparison dashboard tracking accuracy, speed and cost difference between the old service and Claude API, directly causing the business case for migration.

Built a personal AI expense tracker using n8n/Activepieces, Claude API, Google Sheets
- Daily shopping receipts forwarded to email ➡️ Claude AI reads, extracts structured data and categories ➡️ stored in Google Sheets ➡️ daily spending summary sent as reminder
