The hemp decorticator (in English Do It Yourself Hemp Decorticator) is the second project of OSE France. It consists of a line of about ten machines that process a bale of hemp straw to recover the textile fibers, as well as straw chips used for insulation, among other things.

I have been contributing to this project since July 2016, mainly on 3D modeling, based on hand-drawn plans and technical instructions provided by the project leader, as well as on technical management (bill of materials, community contributions, etc.).

I master numerous professional CAD software packages, such as CatiaV5, SolidWorks, or Inventor. For free and amateur use, I can also offer training on Fusion360, FreeCAD, or Onshape. And beyond simple software usage, I can also train you in best practices and the rules of the art of technical modeling.

The first project of Open Source Ecology France (OSE) is a solar concentrator. Solar OSE is its demonstrator. I joined OSE France in early April 2015 for the launch of the development sessions for this machine. I was responsible for the mechanical design of this demonstrator, in close collaboration with a doctor in optics, a member of the association. In the summer of 2015, we were selected for the POC21 innovation camp. Since then, OSE France has been developing the full-scale prototype of this machine, five times larger than this demonstrator. It will be built in 2017.
