Clément Tréangle

I graduated as an engineer in 2015 in the field of electronics and applied physics from the National Engineering School of Caen (ENSICAEN) in France. From October 1, 2015, to the end of December 2018, I completed a PhD in Automatic Control in the IdO team at LAC (Laboratory of Automatic Control of Caen) in France. I worked specifically on the synthesis of high-gain observers for certain classes of nonlinear systems with sampled and delayed outputs.

In parallel with the end of my PhD, I held a temporary teaching and research position and gave some lectures at the University of Caen Normandy.

My role at ArianeGroup as a Health Monitoring System (HMS) Design Engineer involved diagnosing the health status of a rocket engine in real-time or deferred time, using an algorithmic approach.

I then worked for 3 years at Business At Work as a Development Engineer. My role consisted of developing a whole set of Matlab applications for a client in the motorsport domain. These Matlab applications used HTML/JavaScript components and SQL databases.

Today, I am an expert software engineering engineer at GANIL in Caen. I manage a portfolio of applications that control the equipment necessary for the operation of GANIL's particle accelerators. This can include equipment drivers (coded in C/C++) or higher-level applications (e.g., UIs in Flutter).

Therefore, I have a hybrid profile, with one foot in scientific computing through automatic control/signal processing and particularly software sensor synthesis, and another foot in pure software development, both back-end with technologies like Python/Matlab or even C++, and front-end with technologies such as JavaScript or Flutter.
