The I.Ceram teams work to develop innovative implants for targeted indications for which there are few or no satisfactory solutions. To this end, the company's researchers intend to use the specific qualities of the Céramil® technology:

• - mechanical strength superior to that of natural bone,

• - a porous structure that allows bone colonization,

• - surface qualities that make it less prone to infection development,

• - porosity that allows loading with active substances and thus, once implanted, enables the release of the molecule into the bone. The marketing of a surgical solution combining both bone reconstruction and localized, controlled delivery of drug substances represents a real break from traditional surgery.

Accompanying companies in the Limousin region in their innovation process has been my challenge since December 2013! My knowledge of industrial property, particularly regarding conducting personalized patent searches, strategic intelligence, and facilitating group or individual creativity sessions, are all key elements used to ensure the success of the companies I support.
