Carlos Espejo Nieto

I introduce myself, I am Carlos Espejo Nieto, passionate about technology and product with 11 years of experience in the programming world. I have always considered myself a product-oriented techie, as I believe that technology should be a means and not an end, and that what matters is what it contributes (although obviously I like all the technology I produce or help produce to be good, beautiful, and cheap). Currently, I am CTO at a Venture Builder, where I help companies with all kinds of technological processes, from creating MVPs to scalability projects. I have worked on development projects of all types and colors.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on projects such as the digital transformation of companies and the management of development projects. I have worked extensively with less technical profiles to help them define what they need and how to achieve it, managing technology, product, data, and design teams. For example, in a recent project, I led the entire technological area of a startup, from defining the roadmap at a very early stage of the company, to three years later keeping that roadmap updated and continuously evolving, achieving all milestones with a team of 4-5 developers and 1 designer. Furthermore, my passion has always been the creation of scalable projects, whether by helping the technical team or by getting my hands dirty and delivering functionalities, but always thinking about 'this must be valid now, and in 10 years'.

From my side, you can expect a contribution to development as well as to best practices to ensure that what is developed now is scalable, so that in the future there is no need to invest in redoing the technology. I also manage a small group of trusted developers, so if more hands were needed, I could provide them.
