Carla Pereira Docampo

I am a filmmaker and stop motion animator, modelmaker, character designer, and screenwriter. I have almost 15 years of experience as a stop motion animator in various productions, including series, short films, and feature films worldwide, such as Wes Anderson's Oscar-nominated film, Isle of Dogs.

As a filmmaker, I have co-directed the short films Metamorfosis, Todo está perdido, and solo directed the short film "Proceso de selección". All three were nominated for the Goya Awards and selected at prestigious festivals like Annecy, Cannes, Sitges, Clermont Ferrand, and Zagreb. Additionally, I have worked independently on commercials and promotional videos, handling animation, character design, puppet design and fabrication, and direction.

Recently, I finished the production of my latest stop motion short film, "Algo en la casa," where I served as producer and director. This project has been selected for distribution by the renowned distributor MIYU, known for its highly selective approach and commitment to working only with the most innovative and high-quality animated short films.
