Who I am . . .

Since 1999, I have been working as a freelance editor, copy editor, and project manager for German and international publishers, as well as for institutions and companies.

My work focuses on non-fiction and technical books, guides, brochures, therapy manuals, as well as documentation and website content.

Before founding "extratour – Büro für Verlage" (extratour – Office for Publishers), I gained several years of experience as an editor and press spokesperson in non-fiction publishing houses, most recently in a leading position.

Studied German Studies, Psychology, and Folklore (M.A.) in Freiburg and Göttingen.

What else I do:

As the continuing education officer of the VFLL – Association of Freelance Editors e.V., I organize seminars, conferences, and trade fair events, lead workshops and seminars, and provide member and funding advice.

In addition:

Regular continuing education on topics such as text structuring with document templates, XML processes, and self-publishing.

And: As a certified Shiatsu therapist (GSD), I have been contributing my expertise in TCM, acupuncture, osteopathy, and homeopathy to numerous projects on complementary medicine for several years.

My passion: Experiencing nature through hiking, sailing, and as a volunteer on nature conservation projects.
