Alix Buchet--Couzy

Graduated with a master's degree in architecture and a specialized master's in architecture and exhibition design from the National School of Architecture of Paris-Belleville.

Through my education and professional experience, I have developed projects for spatial pathways that required consideration of what defines a space. I have acquired a strong understanding of the relationship between the scale of housing and the territory, by participating in projects for housing, urban planning, and initiatives integrating these two concepts/scales.

During my studies, I repeatedly worked on housing projects, both collective and individual. At the Casa Tereze studio, I participated in the renovation of several building floors, apartments, reception rooms, and roof terraces. These were high-end residential projects.

I also participated in urban renovation work, as part of a project to redevelop a working-class district in the city of Laon, where we focused on the materiality of the ground surfaces to work on the relationship between private housing and public space.

Furthermore, I have worked on several exhibition design projects, both temporary and permanent. At Ateliers Adeline Rispal, I participated in the competition for the rehabilitation and extension of the Gallo-Roman museum of Saint-Romain en Gal. This project involved both architecture and exhibition design, requiring a rethinking of the entire permanent exhibition pathway to create an immersive experience for visitors, both inside the building displaying the various mosaics and outside, where the ruins of the ancient Gallo-Roman domus are located.

These experiences have allowed me to acquire skills in drawing software and in working on different project phases (competition phase, ESQ, APS, APD, DCE, AOR...).
