About Guido

As a passionate IT project manager, my greatest motivation is a project with broad requirements.

Projects that allow me to contribute my full spectrum of experience drive me. This begins with my ability to translate functional requirements into tasks that can then be programmed in a well-structured manner based on this foundation. This also includes shaping team structures and recognizing and utilizing individual skills. Likewise, the continuous focus on the overarching goals, which must not be lost when dealing with the fine details.
I have led the complete journey from an idea through conception, implementation control, continuous optimization to stable and secure regular operation multiple times. With this experience, I can lay a reliable and future-proof foundation for the product and processes at the beginning of a project.

Having helped build several startups, I am familiar with the challenges that arise when building and growing a company from scratch.

I also always find the fresh perspective from the "outside" on existing structures and processes exciting. With my quick comprehension and the desire to actively listen, I help to bring new energy into a project.

I offer the following services on a freelance basis:

- IT project management in Scrum projects as Product Owner or Scrum Master
- IT project management in classic projects
- Coaching for the introduction of Scrum
- Consulting in all project phases
- Interim CTO
- Conducting Technical Due Diligence
- Creation of requirements specifications (Lastenheft/Pflichtenheft)
- Website conception
- SEO
- Budget controlling
- Capacity planning
- Quality assurance
- Release management
- Management of external service providers
- Coordination of international projects

I am available for projects full-time as well as part-time.

HPM's goal is the complete documentation of the hygiene of patient beds in hospitals. The issue of resistant germs is becoming increasingly important, which is why all hygiene processes in the hospital must interlock reliably. The basis for HPM is a cross-platform mobile app that allows hospital staff to manage the hygiene status of medical devices in real-time. The solution also makes it possible to locate products within the hospital, enabling efficient and cost-reduced use. In addition, HPM is used to control and document utilization, maintenance, and repairs.
The biggest challenges are ensuring absolute reliability in the often problematic structural hospital environment and optimizing user-friendliness so that the often-changing staff can use the processes flawlessly.
During the development of the system, I defined the requirements with product management and the specialist departments and translated them into user stories for development. The coordination of development within the sprints was also part of my responsibility.

The FlyNet project was a cooperation between Burda (TFT), Lufthansa, and Boeing. The goal was to establish an internet infrastructure on board Lufthansa's long-haul fleet. The focus was on entertainment and information in addition to the pure internet connection. A streaming service and a news portal were set up on board. The challenges included compliance with technical regulations in air traffic, cost-optimized content delivery, preferably avoiding satellite connections, onboard billing, and the international cooperation of the partners.
TFT acted as the general contractor in the FlyNet project. My area of responsibility was defining requirements and centrally coordinating all technical activities.

The technical foundation of the maxdome website was to be completely renewed. Since the existing solution could no longer be maintained and scaled with reasonable effort, the website was re-implemented. The challenges included the seamless transition between the old and new solution, the coordination of the internal and external development teams, and the simultaneous redesign of the website.
In the course of the reprogramming of the maxdome website, I coordinated all technical tasks within the Scrum process.
