Bastian in a few words

I am a software developer, full time nerd and problem solver.
I made my first experiences with computers when I was about 8 years old and have been programming since I was 15 years old.

What I find really exciting about computer science and especially software development is that you can create things by only writing logical texts. You start with an idea and end up creating software that can make the world a better place. Isn't that fascinating?

Already during my studies at the BTU in Cottbus I worked in different companies to be able to apply theoretical knowledge practically.
My first full time job was at Capgemini as a Java software developer. In this position I was mostly responsible for the design and the development of an fully automated test environment. This test suite was used in our development team to verify that the software, which we continuously delivered to one of the world's largest automotive groups, works as expected.
Additionaly I supported the team in the design and development of REST API's and Java micro services.

Although I liked the wide range of tasks and the many different projects there and was able to learn a lot, I quickly realized that I wanted more.
I am someone who is very interested in the latest technologies and strives to break new ground. So my journey led me to the world of start-ups.
I started to work at Polygravity as a application developer and network administrator. My tasks consisted of setting up and maintaining the company network and further developing the Blockchain product.
After a short time the team offered me the position as CPO and gave me the opportunity to develop not only my technical but also my management skills.

During this time I decided to start my own business to get to know the complete variety of IT companies and to help them solve the big challenges of tomorrow.
